M.E.A.N.Y. FEST 2004 has concluded with another amazing Pre-New Year's Eve Bash at CBGB. Over 500 people packed CBGB and what an incredible night of great music took place!

The fest began in September when 266 bands performed all over NYC and audiences voted in their favorites. Over 10,000 people once again attended ten New York venues for M.E.A.N.Y. FEST 2004.. It came down to the finalists EVE'S FAULT, MORE, THE KIN, UNDERHELMED, and MARWOOD. Our national pick of the year from San Diego was MY AMERICAN HEART. Our judges this year had a really tough time with the amazing talent they had to choose from.

Our special guest Lzzy Hale in HALESTORM put on a great performance as she opened up the MEANY FEST finals. Then Marwood took the stage as the first finalist of the evening and we were in full swing. Crowds poured into CBGB thoughout the night. Later in the evening, our special guest BANDCAMP took the stage. Congrats to BANDCAMP who have just been signed to the Atlantic Recording Group! The crowd went crazy for both of our special guests and all the finalists throughout the evening!

Congratulations to THE KIN for taking first place and winning 30 hours of recording time. Congrats to UNDERWHELMED for winning a radio package from Notorious Radio and recording time from Threshold Studios. CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!

MORE TO COME SOON!!!
