Lourds Lane

Lourds Lane, lead singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist of the band LOURDS, began her training at age three on violin and piano and was soon declared a musical prodigy. At age 6, Lourds played Carnegie Hall and in her early teens traveled around the world with the most prestigious NYC youth orchestras. Lourds continued playing violin and piano, as well as mastering classical composition throughout her formative years, but she could never adapt to the strict regimentation the classical establishment demanded. Something explosive awaited its spark.

As charismatic lead singer of LOURDS, Lane received a glowing full-page feature biography articles in the NY POST and dominated the front cover of the entertainment section of the NY Daily News.  After the release of their national self-titled debut on Breaking Records, Billboard Magazine hails, “Truly incomparable… Innovative and yet accessible, [LOURDS] breaks the rules, while poised to break into the big time.”
